These lovely lined drapes have more than met my expectations. They are well made with a slight sheen. The word "twill" may be misleading if you interpret these as being made from a stiffer twill-type material. They are not and really a much softer, finer weave fabric and drape nicely. They remind me of antique satin without the slubbing you would find in that fabric. I would not call the color exactly "ivory" in that they are not a creamy, warm color. I would call them more off-white on the tan spectrum. These worked well for my purposes as is. The vendor really should re-name them as "off-white." The material type and color misnomers are the only reasons I didn't give these 5 stars. These do, in fact, remind me of much more expensive draperies that you would find at a large department store that has a broad selection of window treatments. I would definitely buy these again should I need draperies for other windows in my home.

These panels are really quite lovely. Although not described as faux silk, they have a shimmery finish. They were heavier than I thought with a very nice lining. I was surprised to find they also have drapery weights sewn into them. I steamed the first panel but then thought to put the second one in the dryer with a damp towel for a few minutes. It worked very well, and the second panel only needed minimal steaming to look its best. The panels don't hang perfectly, but the color is lovely, and I think they are very nice quality for the price. They give good privacy while filtering the light. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants nice panels on a budget.
